 A contour band
(or shadow band) refers the special ring that is designed to be worn
on the same finger and next to another ring. The most common example would be a
wedding or anniversary band, which goes next to the traditional engagement ring.
It's important for wedding sets to fit together correctly. The rings
constantly rubbing against each other, will wearing out your precious metal
faster then necessary..

Below are a few sample of shadow bands, wedding bands and one-of-a-kind custom
designs to match the contour of your engagement ring. We can
create a one-of-a-kind wedding bands to custom-fit your engagement ring. No
matter what the contour or shape of the engagement ring, we can make it
look great. We can also match the metal an color of your engagement ring by casting
it in 14k white, yellow or pink gold, platinum and palladium.
We also carry some prefabricated shadow band for this less complicated engagement
rings, with simple curbs to highlight your stone. For anniversary it is common
to use 2 shadow bands one on each side of the engagement ring.
